01
License and credentials
- Hold a valid practicing license from PMC, a provincial council, or the relevant Pakistani or international regulator throughout your time on the platform.
- Notify TheraKonnect within 5 business days if your license is suspended, revoked, or under investigation.
- Never claim a credential, specialty, or fellowship you do not hold. Directory listings are audited and false claims are grounds for immediate termination.
- Complete continuing-education requirements per your regulator's rules. TheraKonnect may request evidence at annual renewal.
- Use one active login per person. Sharing credentials with anyone — including a colleague or family member — is grounds for immediate termination.
- Report a suspected account compromise to security@therakonnect.com within 24 hours of noticing it.
- Keep your recovery email and phone up to date. Access is granted on those channels, not through the front desk.
- Follow Pakistani law and the specific licensure requirements of your role in the market you operate in.
- Never attempt to bypass, reverse, or otherwise defeat platform security (encryption, JWT, access controls). Even successful attempts on your own record are a violation.
02
Clinical responsibilities
The patient's welfare is the sole test that governs your practice on TheraKonnect.
- Write and complete SOAP notes for every session within 48 hours. Notes are the clinical record — verbal or memory-based follow-up is not acceptable.
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Session content, treatment plans, and psychometrics are shared only with the treating team, the patient, and — where relevant — the assigned supervisor.
- Screen every new patient for suicidality, self-harm, and safety risks in the first session. Follow the platform's escalation protocol for any positive screen.
- Refer out when a case is outside your competence. Referral does not weaken your reputation; failure to refer does.
- Never enter a dual relationship (romantic, familial, financial, employment) with a current or recently-discharged patient.
03
Fees and payment
- Publish your session fees on your directory profile and honor them. Undisclosed surcharges added at the session are a violation.
- Collect payments through EasyPaisa or the clinic front desk — never route patients to a personal account outside the platform's payment record.
- Do not solicit current TheraKonnect patients to book with you outside the platform. Doing so deprives them of the platform's dispute resolution and undermines the trust the directory sells them.
- Discounts and pro-bono sessions are welcome — record them on the appointment with a reason so the audit trail is intact.
04
Prohibited conduct
- Fabricating, back-dating, or altering session notes after they are countersigned by a supervisor.
- Sharing patient identity or clinical content on social media, in written work, or with anyone outside the treating team without the patient's written consent.
- Practicing outside your scope — for example, prescribing medication without medical-doctor credentials, or claiming to diagnose ADHD without appropriate training.
- Using patient testimonials in marketing without a signed release. Even anonymised composites require written approval.
- Harassment of any kind directed at another platform user — including patients, therapists, staff, or the TheraKonnect team.
- Attempting to scrape, mirror, or bulk-export platform content that is not yours.
- Uploading malware, executables, or files disguised as clinical documents.
- Falsifying identity documents (CNIC, license certificates) or claiming credentials you do not hold.
- Using TheraKonnect infrastructure for anything outside the scope of therapy delivery — political campaigning, unrelated commerce, spam.
05
Enforcement
- Minor first-time violations receive a written warning and a 7-day window to correct the issue.
- Repeated or severe violations trigger immediate account suspension and a case review.
- Terminations for policy violations are final. Refunds are governed by the refund policy — violation-based terminations receive no refund.
- Fraud, safeguarding failures, or credential misrepresentation may be reported to the relevant regulator (Pakistan Medical Commission, PMC provincial councils, and law enforcement where applicable).
06
Termination and off-boarding
- On departure — voluntary or otherwise — you must transfer active patients to another practitioner or refer them to alternative care within 14 days.
- Clinical notes remain on TheraKonnect for the mandatory retention period (7 years) even after your account is deactivated. You keep read-only access for one year after departure.
- The refund policy applies as published on /refund-policy — the terminated party (violation-based) receives no license refund; voluntary departures follow the pro-rata rule.
