01
Your commitments
- Provide accurate information at registration — real name, real contact number, real symptoms. Falsifying medical history to obtain a specific diagnosis or medication is prohibited.
- Attend booked sessions on time. Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance; late cancellations may forfeit the session fee at the therapist's discretion.
- Pay in full via EasyPaisa at booking or at the clinic per the therapist's policy. Chargebacks or reversals without written notice to the therapist are prohibited.
- Respect your therapist's boundaries. Contact outside scheduled sessions is limited to the in-app messaging channels TheraKonnect provides.
- Read the therapist's fee, cancellation, and privacy notice before booking. Booking = acceptance.
- Use one active login per person. Sharing credentials with anyone — including a colleague or family member — is grounds for immediate termination.
- Report a suspected account compromise to security@therakonnect.com within 24 hours of noticing it.
- Keep your recovery email and phone up to date. Access is granted on those channels, not through the front desk.
- Follow Pakistani law and the specific licensure requirements of your role in the market you operate in.
- Never attempt to bypass, reverse, or otherwise defeat platform security (encryption, JWT, access controls). Even successful attempts on your own record are a violation.
02
Prohibited conduct
- Recording, screenshotting, or transcribing a video session without written consent from the therapist.
- Sharing your therapist's session notes, treatment plan, or contact details with third parties (family members counted as third parties unless you have granted them explicit access).
- Soliciting a therapist off-platform to avoid platform fees. This deprives the therapist of their platform-verified booking history and voids their liability cover — a violation on both sides.
- Demanding a specific prescription, controlled-substance recommendation, or diagnosis your therapist has not agreed to. Therapy is a clinical relationship, not a service you dictate.
- Sending threats, sexual advances, or discriminatory language via any TheraKonnect channel. Zero tolerance.
- Harassment of any kind directed at another platform user — including patients, therapists, staff, or the TheraKonnect team.
- Attempting to scrape, mirror, or bulk-export platform content that is not yours.
- Uploading malware, executables, or files disguised as clinical documents.
- Falsifying identity documents (CNIC, license certificates) or claiming credentials you do not hold.
- Using TheraKonnect infrastructure for anything outside the scope of therapy delivery — political campaigning, unrelated commerce, spam.
03
Cancellations and no-shows
Therapist calendars are limited. Repeat no-shows waste a slot another patient could have used.
- Cancel 24+ hours out: full refund per the therapist's policy (usually 100%).
- Cancel 3–24 hours out: 50% may be retained by the therapist.
- Cancel under 3 hours or no-show: full session fee forfeited.
- Three no-shows in a rolling 60-day window may trigger a temporary booking pause. The pause is lifted after a written commitment to attend future sessions.
04
Enforcement
- Minor first-time violations receive a written warning and a 7-day window to correct the issue.
- Repeated or severe violations trigger immediate account suspension and a case review.
- Terminations for policy violations are final. Refunds are governed by the refund policy — violation-based terminations receive no refund.
- Fraud, safeguarding failures, or credential misrepresentation may be reported to the relevant regulator (Pakistan Medical Commission, PMC provincial councils, and law enforcement where applicable).
05
Termination
- You may leave TheraKonnect at any time. Your account is deactivated on request and clinical records are retained by the treating therapist for the legally-mandated period (typically 7 years for clinical notes in Pakistan).
- TheraKonnect may terminate your account for repeated or severe violations of these terms with 7 days' written notice. Immediate termination applies to safety-related violations.
